Teaching

I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Rutgers University, The Ohio State University, and Boston University. I am the recipient of the 2023 Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Award for Excellence in Graduate Education. This award recognizes a member of the CAS faculty whose commitment and contributions to graduate teaching, mentoring and/or program development have significantly raised the quality and impact of post-baccalaureate training in their disciplinary or interdisciplinary fields.  

At the undergraduate level, I have taught:

• social network analysis, 

• introduction to sociology, 

• contemporary sociological theory, 

• classical sociological theory

• quantitative techniques in sociological analysis, and 

• sociological research methods. 

At the graduate level, I have taught seminars in:

• social network analysis 

• quantitative techniques in sociological research

• advanced methods in social networks
