Teaching
I have taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Rutgers University, The Ohio State University, and Boston University. I am the recipient of the 2023 Boston University's College of Arts and Sciences Dean's Award for Excellence in Graduate Education. This award recognizes a member of the CAS faculty whose commitment and contributions to graduate teaching, mentoring and/or program development have significantly raised the quality and impact of post-baccalaureate training in their disciplinary or interdisciplinary fields.
At the undergraduate level, I have taught:
social network analysis,
introduction to sociology,
contemporary sociological theory,
classical sociological theory
quantitative techniques in sociological analysis, and
sociological research methods.
At the graduate level, I have taught seminars in:
social network analysis
quantitative techniques in sociological research
advanced methods in social networks
